ABOUT OUR LOGO…
You must have already noticed our visual identity displaying a Canada goose (Branta Canadensis) in flight. We choose this bird as our symbol because it is well known throughout our continent. Here in North America, it is a common sight to watch these wonderful birds flying in a characteristic V-shaped formation when migrating. This spectacle is always thrilling. Few species mark the changing of the seasons as distinctively as the celebrated Canada goose. Canada goose (Uluagullik in Inuktitut) makes a loud, honking sound when flying. We really like this strong distinctive call associated with the advent of spring and fall. When it is heard, images of wide open space appear in our mind. After all, this is the essence of what North America is all about…space. |
